Danny Healy-Rae warns 'Fianna Fala and Fianna Gael' will get their answer
Danny Healy-Rae spoke sharply about private meetings and accused unnamed actors of hiding actions from the public, arguing those actions would damage rural Ireland. He warned Fianna Fala and Fianna Gael that voters will respond at the doors if these measures go ahead.
Allegations of secrecy
He said all the meetings were held in private and claimed the same pattern was continuing, accusing unnamed actors of trying to hide what they are doing from the people of Ireland.
Warning about rural Ireland
He insisted the people in rural Ireland would be hit hardest, saying the measures would "finish them off all together" and framing the consequences as severe and lasting - "for good and glory," he said.
Accusations directed at Fianna Fala and Fianna Gael
He singled out Fianna Fala and Fianna Gael by name, warning that when they go to the doors next time "they'll get their answer" if they act in the way he described.
Emphasis on public accountability
He accused the unnamed actors of trying to hoodwink the people and stressed that, before he is finished with them, the people of Ireland will know what is being done to them, particularly those in rural areas.

All the meetings were held in private and this is the very same. He wants to try to hide what you're doing from the people of Ireland. But before we'll be finished with you, the people of Ireland will know what you're trying to do with them, especially the people in rural Ireland. He wants to finish them off all together. For good and glory, that's where you're at. That's what you're trying to do. And you're trying to hoodwink the people. But when Fianna Fala and Fianna Gael go to the doors the next time, they'll get their answer if they'll do this to the people of rural Ireland.
