Danny Healy-Rae Urges Action for Struggling Carers, Daycare Closed

He described the situation for carers in stark terms, saying they are "strangled and torn and worn" and have no respite. He added that these carers are under severe strain and lack services to relieve the burden.
Appeal to the Tanaiste
