Lynn Boylan: Israel and US Are Greatest Threat to Global Security
Lynn Boylan accuses Israel and the United States of posing the greatest threat to global security and warns that their actions have worsened Europe’s energy crisis and driven up the cost of living. In a forceful address, she links illegal military actions and attacks on civilians to wider consequences for social cohesion and European stability.
Main allegation: Lynn Boylan charges that Israel and the United States are carrying out illegal wars, bombing school children, hunting and killing journalists and paramedics, and targeting UN peacekeepers. She argues these actions amount to a breach of international law and a direct risk to social cohesion across Europe.
Energy and social fallout: Boylan ties these international actions to the worst oil and gas crisis in history and to soaring costs for households across the EU. She warns that governments and EU institutions that treat the energy crisis as a natural disaster are failing to hold rogue states to account and are neglecting measures such as ending fossil fuel dependence, breaking the gas-renewables link, and taxing windfall profits.
Domestic consequences: The speaker highlights that fuel protests have already shut down Ireland and cautions that protests could spread across Europe if leaders do not act. Boylan urges political leaders to stand up for citizens, rein in corporate greed and take decisive steps to protect vulnerable communities and international law.

Thank you very much Madam Newman. Madam Voiland, you have the floor. Thank you colleagues. There's now no doubt that Israel and the United States represent the greatest threat to global security and are a risk to social cohesion right across Europe. They have not only caused the worst oil and gas crisis in history and for the cost of living in the EU to skyrocket. Israel and the United States are carrying out illegal wars, bombing school children, hunting and killing journalists and paramedics and targeting our UN peacekeepers. And meanwhile ordinary citizens in Europe look on aghast, not only at the tearing up of international law but also at their own governments and EU institutions who seem to treat the energy crisis as a natural disaster and not as a direct consequence of US and Israeli actions. Fuel protests has already shut down Ireland and the protests will spread across Europe if leaders fail to stand up for their citizens, if they fail to hold rogue states to account, if they fail to end their dependence on fossil fuels, fail to break the link between gas and renewables and fail to rein in the corporate greed and tax the windfall profits. Thank you very much Madam Nafo.
